technology is great...i enjoy it everyday through computer use, tv, dvd, video games, phones, it's everywhere. it's never been easier to access seemingly limitless information about any topics that might pop into your mind. technology gives us many ways to spend/waste time. but when i get a chance to i enjoy going to a park somewhere and leaving my phone in the car or even at home and just walking in the woods by myself to get away from technology for awhile. something just feels good about not getting phone calls....they can really ruin a train of thought.

7 1/2 habits
The 7.5 Habits are:
1. Begin with the end in mind
2. Accept responsibility for your own learning
3. View problems as challenges
4. Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner
5. Create your own learning toolbox
6. Use technology to your advantage
7. Teach/mentor others
7 1/2. Play!
-the easiest of these for me is play, it is the best way to learn. things are easier to work through when you don't take them so seriously it allows you to relax a bit and see things from a different angle.
-viewing problems as a challenge is the hard one. they generally simply appear as something i would rather not do. seeing problems as an opportunity to learn is difficult.
